What to Expect

Most patients tolerate SkinPen well, reporting only mild  tingling or pressure during treatment. You can return to your usual activities right after treatment, with minor restrictions. Most clients report 24 hours of mild swelling and redness, followed by 48 hours of mildly inflamed skin.

SkinPen triggers the body's natural wound-healing response, stimulating one year's worth of collagen and elastin production in one session, without the use of heat or chemicals.

How Long SkinPen Results Last

SkinPen results begin to appear within days of treatment, with continued improvement over the following weeks as new collagen develops. Studies have demonstrated increased collagen and elastin production for up to one year following treatment.

For optimal collagen stimulation, most clients complete a series of 3 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments every 12 months can preserve and enhance results. Individual outcomes vary based on age,  skin quality, treatment goals, sun exposure, and skincare habits.
